The firm was established in 1970 as ‘Croes & Wever’, and it is presently the longest-standing partnership under the jurisdiction of the Common Court of Appeals of the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba. Mr. Croes would be the most senior lawyer in Aruba, were it not for his approximately 10 year tenure in public office, then followed by Mr. Wever as runner up in seniority. Mr. Tchong has been advisor to the Government of Aruba for many years and in that capacity co-wrote the New Fiscal Framework legislation that meets OECD guidelines and, among others, introduced the Imputation Payment Company.

The firm has established a broad spectrum of quality legal services through the years (since 1995 also in the field of domestic and international taxation) to its corporate and private clientele in Aruba as well as on all continents, though mainly in North America, Europe, and Latin America.
